Get Certified

Currently there are over a million certified professionals in the computer world..whats one more? :-) This site is mostly for those folks that are just starting out on their certification track, but hey, anyone is welcome! Im here to support, encourage, entertain and make you want to get certified. This site will hopefully have a lot of humor and information that I hope you will find useful.

Being serious all the time is not a lot of fun and while certifications are a serious business, this site is here as a diversion for you. Even though this is a lighthearted site, I will still provide you with quality links and information to help you on your way to your goal.

I made the decision about a year ago to become a Microsoft Certified Professional and to pursue an IT career at the earliest opportunity. My plans have changed a bit since MS announced that they are retiring the NT 4 track in place of the Win 2K track. I havent decided if Im going to pursue an MCSE proper or just start collecting other certifications and passing other tests. Ive recently begun studying for my A+ and Visual Basic 6.0 certifications. I predict that the Visual Basic test will be seriously difficult since I have *no* previous programming experience to speak of. I have nothing but time and the desire to learn.

This site is actually a few months old..it started out with a much different appearance and Ive just recently changed it to the way you see now which is much more appealing. You may notice various links to several different sites..Brainbuzz, Next Planet Over, Sessions Edu. etc. These are affiliates I have chosen to help pay for my online time. Ive tried to get as good of quality sites as I can and I feel the current crop has a lot to offer you. Please take the time to check them out.
